Lauren Muniz is a new member of ELAC’s Let’s Dance Company, currently enrolled as a Liberal Arts major at Cypress and East Los Angeles Community College. Her goal is to pursue a career in dance and takes great joy in being a part of a variety of dance classes wherever possible. Her hobbies include swimming, surfing, and learning all styles of dance. She loves Italian food, and her favorite color is yellow.

Lena Aboulhosn has participated in many dance events since the age of seven, and she is a second year member of ELAC’s Let’s Dance Company. Lena is currently working on her B.A. and teaching credential in Child Development at California State University of Los Angeles. She hopes that one day she will get to teach children and fill their minds with knowledge. She wants to continue to dance for as long as she can and possibly make it more than a hobby. Lena has fun reading on her free time, likes the color purple, and can eat Middle Eastern food any time of the day.

Lucia Rios is a returning member of ELAC's Let’s Dance Company and attends ELAC to pursue her passion in the dance program. Lucia attended Montebello High School and was an active member of the Drill/Dance team for four years. In total, she has had seven years of dance experience ranging from hip-hop to jazz and from modern to salsa. She plans on continuing her education to eventually become an educator herself. Lucia’s favorite colors are black and pink, and her favorite food is frozen yogurt. She also enjoys going to the movies, concerts, outdoor events, and loves to spend time with her family.

Lucio Murillo is a second year member of the Let’s Dance Company. He has cheered during his senior year in high school and for an all-star squad, Dynasty. He has taken various dance classes at ELAC, such as modern, jazz, and tap. His goal is to become a math teacher with a minor in Dance. Lucio enjoys running in the park, Italian food, and acknowledges his parents as his role models.

Lucy Diaz attends East Los Angeles College, where she is finishing her general studies and preparing to transfer, working towards a B.A. in Sociology. Some of her goals are to help children in need, become a Laker girl, dance in pop concerts, and open up her own studio. She has been dancing for four years, training with different companies, including hip-hop, jazz, salsa, and bachata groups. Lucy teaches dance and loves doing so, because she can share her passion and admiration for the art. She strives to be a positive role model and would like to inspire her students to never give up. On her spare time, she enjoys working out, running at the beach, participating in outdoor sports, and spending time with her family. Lucy is a firm believer that dancers should be diverse in their technique and strong in various styles, just as she envisions for herself.
