Jacqueline Munguia is a student at East Los Angeles College. She started dancing at the age of twelve at John Ansons Ford Park, where she performed hip-hop, salsa, and break dances in many competitions and community events. She then continued to dance at L.A. DKDA dance studio, where she was given the opportunity to participate in different Hispanic music videos. She was also a 3-year member of the Bell Gardens dance team. This is Jacqueline’s second year as a member of the Let’s Dance Company. She enjoys learning all kinds of dance styles, especially hip-hop. Her major will allow her to become a social worker and help children all over the world. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she loves to go to the movies.
Jaime Trujillo has been a member the Let's Dance Company for four years. In the present, he attends East Los Angeles College, while working as waiter. He began dancing at the age of twelve. Mexican folklorico dance was the first technique he was exposed to, while living in Mexico. Currently, Jaime has experience in jazz, modern, tap, hula, and ballet. However, jazz dance is his favorite. In the near future, Jaime plans to transfer to a university to obtain a degree in Math. Simultaneously, he plans to be involved in the world of dance, because the art form is already a part of his life. He loves the most simplistic things in life, such as having a good conversation with a friend and watching television. His favorite dishes are stuffed gorditas and tamales. Jaime's favorite singer is Ricky Martin.
Jeffrey Finnerman began his dance training at the age of three at Ballet Petit. At the age of five, he began dancing at San Marino Dance Academy, where he still dances today, studying ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. Now at the age of sixteen, Jeff is a third-year member of the Let’s Dance Company. He plans to study dance in college and possibly pursue a degree in dance. He loves the colors red and black, enjoys painting, playing soccer, and listening to music in his free time.
Kristina Karmiryan is an eight-year member of ELAC’s Let’s Dance Company, a graduate from California State University of Long Beach, with a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature, and is a dance instructor. She is working towards a career as an English and Dance professor, while continuing to participate in various performance opportunities involving the art of dance. Kristina loves the color red, enjoys reading American and Russian novels, and favors the style, movement, and energy of jazz dance.
Kristin Gonzalez is a first year member of ELAC's Let’s Dance Company. She plans to attend and receive a B.A in Nursing at California State University of Fullerton within the next following year. She also plans to continue to participate in dance related opportunities. Her interests include drawing, spending time with friends and family, watching the Lakers, football, and eating ice cream on summer nights.
